Turn books into powerful conversations with Little Voice Books!

If not now, when?

Did you know that 2 years ago, in the month of October, Little Voice was born on a scrap piece of paper? It was tucked away for safekeeping until author Amanda’s own inner voice inspired her to publish her work!

Almost a year later, Little Voice was born on December 2, 2014.

It is incredible to think how far we’ve come in such a short amount of time!

Eight  months later, we returned to the drawing board to expand our audience and bring to you La petite voix. Now, with our story available in English and French, our movement continues to grow and inspire others to listen to their little voice, as Amanda did so long ago.

Within the pages of our book, our story can teach you many things. Our message can encourage you to be proud of who you are; to be strong, courageous and bold; to believe in yourself when all else fails; and to chase your dreams no matter what obstacles stand in the way.

An Evening with the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa & Renfrew County

Since Little Voice first set out to share its story, it has also set out to fundraise behind a cause extremely close to their heart…

Little Voice was very excited to meet with the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County this past week to learn more about the organization’s team and how they use donations to support a variety of programs and initiatives.

“I am so honoured to work with the Alzheimer’s Society and to be able to use the Little Voice platform as a means of creating a positive impact in my community, specifically with those living with Alzheimer’s disease or a form of related dementia. I know my grandmother would be extremely proud of me if she were able to comprehend all that I am doing in her name.” – Amanda Bernardo, author of Little Voice

It is with great excitement and joy that we announce Little Voice as an approved resource/organization with the Ottawa Catholic School Board!

“As a graduate from Prince of Peace Elementary School and St. Patrick’s High School, I am overwhelmed with this opportunity to work with not only the schools I attended as a child/teen but now with my entire community! I am extremely grateful and cannot wait to share the message behind Little Voice, which I hope will inspire many more students!”

Little Voice will also be working this summer on a special project with the OCSB to continue to support schools and students in the upcoming school year! We can’t wait to share this project with all of you!

As an organization, Little Voice works rigorously within our communities to both inspire children and give back wherever possible. We are extremely proud of our Forget Me Not Project and the #30BooksFundraiser, both fundraising initiatives which have supported the Alzheimer Society of Canada and Alzheimer Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County, as well as having shared a love of reading with schools and local organizations.

We are more than just a book … we are a movement and now together with your help, we hope to grow to inspire many more hearts and support many more causes!

Stay tuned, we have a lot more to share!
